Summer farmers markets are beginning to wind down across Fort Collins and Northern Colorado, with several set to end their season in the coming weeks.
The good news for market lovers? There’s still plenty of time to stock up on fresh produce, artisan foods and locally made goods before the tents come down.
And for shoppers hoping to keep filling their shopping bags, Wildcraft Farmers Market in Fort Collins will continue into the winter.
When are Northern Colorado’s most popular summer farmers markets holding their final outdoor markets of the season?
Fort Collins Farmers Market
1001 E. Harmony Road, Fort Collins
Shoppers still have time to visit the Fort Collins Farmers Market before the outdoor season wraps up. The Wednesday market ends Sept. 30, while Sunday markets continue through Nov. 8.
Vendors set up from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the southeast corner of Harmony Road and Lemay Avenue in the Ace Hardware parking lot.
Larimer County Farmers’ Market
200 W. Oak St., Fort Collins
If you haven’t made it to the Larimer County Farmers’ Market yet this year, there’s still time to check it out. This season marks the market’s 50th anniversary, with more than 80 vendors participating, according to its website.
Vendors set up every Saturday through Oct. 31 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Wildcraft Farmers Market
215 E. Foothills Parkway (inside Foothills mall), Fort Collins
After launching a monthly summer market series in May, Wildcraft Farmers Market has just one summer market left on its calendar. The second-Saturday market returns Oct. 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. inside Foothills mall before transitioning to a weekly winter-market schedule beginning Nov. 7.
More than 50 vendors set up at Wildcraft, giving shoppers plenty to browse, from seasonal produce and artisan goods to locally raised meat and dairy products.
Timnath Farmers Market
4138 Main St., Timnath
The Timnath Farmers Market still has a couple of dates remaining before wrapping up its seventh annual summer season on Oct. 11. Vendors are set up from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the second and fourth Sundays of each month.
Since vendors rotate throughout the season, there’s a good chance you’ll find something new on your next trip.
Longmont Farmers Market
9595 Nelson Road, Longmont
For shoppers hoping to squeeze in a few more outdoor market days, the Longmont Farmers Market has one of the longest seasons remaining in the region.
The market runs through Nov. 21 at the Boulder County Fairgrounds, with vendors set up from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Alongside fresh produce and local goods, visitors can also enjoy live music and family-friendly activities throughout the season.
