Colorado candidate Laubacher calls out Boebert over vote against bipartisan housing bill

Colorado congressional candidate Eileen Laubacher pointed to Rep. Lauren Boebert’s vote against a major bipartisan housing package while talking about the difficulty families in the 4th District face finding affordable places to live and accessing basic services. Boebert was one of 32 House Republicans who voted against the final version of the Housing for the 21st Century Act in June.

The measure passed 358-32 and included changes aimed at increasing housing supply, updating rural and affordable housing programs and making it easier to finance and build homes. Laubacher, a retired Navy rear admiral, is the Democratic nominee challenging Boebert for Colorado’s 4th Congressional District in November.
