Election Day in Colorado and across the country is Tuesday, Nov. 3, but if you’re planning to vote in the election, which includes high-profile races for the US House of Representatives, there are a lot of other important dates to keep in mind.
Here’s your calendar of key dates in Colorado’s 2026 midterm elections:
FRIDAY, OCT. 16: County clerks will begin mailing ballots to all active registered voters on or around this date.
MONDAY, OCT. 19-MONDAY, NOV. 2: Voters can cast their ballots in-person. Exact dates and locations vary by county.
MONDAY, OCT. 26: This is your last day to register online or by mail to receive a mail ballot before Election Day. Colorado also offers same-day voter registration through Election Day. You can register online using Courier Colorado’s voter registration tool.
TUESDAY, NOV. 3: This is the last day to vote in Colorado’s midterm elections. All ballots must be received by 7 p.m., regardless of postmark date. Polling locations and voter service centers also close at 7 p.m.
